I have a limited edition 1991 cadillac Coupe DeVille. Gold badges, faux convertible roof, 4.9 litre engine, all red in and out and in excellent condition before it was totalled. A potential client (VA) is looking at purchasing a car in the Los Angeles area (Pamona) and was wondering if we have any referrals for 3rd parties that could help him facilitate this (i.e. getting cashier check, arranging transportation and making sure the vehicle is safely transported) in that area. I have not heard of such a beast and didn't know if you knew of anything/anybody.

I have most of my collector cars insured through Hagerty, but one of my projects was covered by a regular car insurance policy. It was damaged by a winter storm, and now it's been more than ten months without an offer to settle. Now the insurance company wants an apprasial from a local person. What qualifactions should he have to appraise my project? What if his idea is much lower then the reciepts I have showing the amount I have invested in the project?
